The South Bay Cities Council of Governments and the South Bay Association of REALTORS® are co-hosting the Housing Forum, a half-day conference on Friday, May 10, 2019, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Toyota Meeting Hall in Torrance. This important event will seek practical, workable solutions to the housing crisis and issues of housing supply specifically in the South Bay but applicable to Greater Los Angeles and suburban communities throughout the state.
The South Bay Housing Forum kicks off with a keynote address from California Senator Ben Allen (D-26) followed by three panels that progressively set the stage to address critical questions on housing in our region.
We hope you share our belief that adequate, affordable, and available housing options are critical for economic growth, high quality jobs, and a firm foundation in our communities. Your presence along with the public officials, urban planners, real estate professionals and development professionals will allow for a variety of viewpoints and contribute to a vibrant and wide-ranging discussion.
